One major limitation with the Netflix and Apple iTunes store is that the large majority of quality content is only available to those living in the USA.

Netflix is available to those in the USA (But for those abroad, you can get a US IP address with a VPN service)

Also, if you are abroad it can be challenging to setup a US ITunes account without a US credit card.

Yet I did find a work around solution for accessing the the iTunes US from abroad by using iTunes Gift Cards at http://www.VPNTelevision.com

I don't understand why Netflix, Apple and the media companies don't just let people have worldwide access to media...wouldn't it mean more profits for them?!?

I'm not a fan of the new look either. Some little things are slightly cleaner, but in general I liked the simpler google, not the new bevelled-edges slick google. Same thing with their search page changes. Some sites just don't have to look flashy!

Pretty feeble changes compared to your overly enthusiastic banter about them. And how is having to click three times for deleting unread messages an improvement over clicking twice as was previously the case. In fact all the changes are annoying. The page is anything but cleaner. Regress! Go back to the way it was, please..

changes are welcome, but the fourth change (making unread, read, starred..etc as drop down) is not. I often clicked on unread and delete (or unread and deselect some then delete) to remove many useless emails (such as ads and newsletters). It was a 2 click steps (unread -> delete) in the past and now it's a 3 click steps (drop down -> unread -> delete).

I find the small changes to be unpleasant. I was perfectly happy with the text link, I find the big ugly button looks really out of place, and the solid backgrounds behind the text is visually distracting. I also find it harder to look at my gtalk contacts now that the background of the box is transparent and my gmail background image shows up behind them.

While I understand the need for new functionality I can't help but feel like they could have done some better user experience testing, I felt almost immediately displeased with this change while never having issues with previous gmail updates.

A single year for what is arguably a large shift in communication interface to be adopted? Really? How fast did they honestly think this would catch on? In 2-4 years, it would've been huge. My friends and I had just barely started realizing its uses and potential after 3-4 months use and were just starting to spread the word (mainly delayed due to bugs and feature changes). Now of course, we won't bother.
